Pocketbook Grips

Pocketbook Grips

Pocketbook grips are an important piece of equipment that are used for pulling sagging optical ground wire and conductor cable up to an initial sag-tension or during clipping operations. Precision machined from solid 6061-T6511 aluminum billet and finished with grade 8 stainless and corrosion-resistant high-carbon steel hardware. Our reboring service, which allows our pocketbook grips the ability to step up in bore diameter (within the stated maximum range of the grip), allows our customers and end users much greater flexibility in regards to their grip inventory, as they are no longer tied down to just one bore size per pocketbook grip. With available ranges from .250” all the way up to 2.50”, these grips can handle the vast majority of the cables commonly being used today.
