Specification

The 1801 Series (1800-SS shown) has a fixed blade depth for scoring (scribing) the semi-conductive shield of medium voltage cable so the semi-con can be removed without nicking or damaging the cable insulation. The tool switches between the square and spiral cutting functions without removing it from the cable. Coil springs maintain constant pressure during operation.

For cables with outer diameter (O.D.) from 1-3/4" to 3" (44.5 - 76.2 mm).

The 1801 is available with standard fixed blade depths of 0.037", 0.046", 0.055" or 0.064". Please contact us if other blade depths are required.
